PLACEMENT CELL REPORT 2017-18

The Placement cell of Dhemaji Girls’ College has had another fruitful year of placements in the academic year 2017-18 like in the field of higher education, like in the field of various govt. and private sector jobs, like in the field of state/national/international level examination and in the field of sports/cultural activities. Each year, we organized various workshop, awareness programme on career, workshop on career opportunity etc. which give good opportunity to every student.

            The placement cell is headed by our principal, Dr. Dipak Borgohain and the co-ordinator Mr. Prakash Borthakur. All the activities of the cell are led by Mr. Prakash Borthakur and student core committee, which consists of students from different courses in their final year.

            The placement cell of Dhemaji Girls’ College aims at giving opportunity to all the student of the college to make themselves fit for all the competitive examination.

            The placement cell maintains a constant contact with its students with the help of Blog, Face book page, and also sends the students regular mails notifying them about the opportunities of various jobs.

            Like the previous years, this year also the cell organized several workshops for students, sports training, etc. For the academic session 2017-18, the cell has successfully place number of 13 out going student which was a record number. Again the number of 10 students is progressing to higher education this year, which is possible in constant effort from our placement cell. The number of 3 students of Dhemaji Girls College has qualified the state or national level examination this year, one student clear the NET. Again the number of 51 students have appeared for the examination and successfully completed their degree.

            This year the placement cell of Dhemaji Girls’ College giving opportunity to all the student of the college to make themselves fit for sports/ cultural activities. The  academic session of 2017-18 the student of Dhemaji Girls’ College has got a record number of 4 awards(national/international level) which is a great success for the entire cell.
